The Tri-Service Workflow (TSWF) Team is constantly seeking methods to improve the quality of time MHS clinical staff spend with their patients. Ideas are conceived, reviewed, researched, presented to MHS leadership and where possible implemented in to primary care processes. TSWF forms provide several standardized screening tools for clinical assessment of important conditions. Some of these screening tools require calculation of a final score, which has been a manual, time-consuming, and potentially error-prone process. The TSWF team investigated, tested, and implemented a new process for automatically calculating the following scores, improving accuracy and saving staff time.
– PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire-9) is an assessment tool for depressive disorders, used for screening, diagnosing, monitoring and measuring the severity of depression.
-GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder -7) is an assessment tool used for screening for anxiety disorders.
-Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), is an assessment tool used to measure the average sleep propensity (ASP) of patients to assess their general level of sleepiness and determine if a sleep disorder could be the cause of their daytime sleepiness.
Tri-Service Workflow is dedicated to serving those who serve. Our innovations bring the team care we exemplify to help you in your patient care.
